The Lemkin Institute for Genocide Prevention has issued multiple Red Flag Alerts for the ongoing Trans Genocide in the United States due to rampant mis/disinformation campaigns, exponentially increasing (and record breaking) numbers of anti-trans bills and exceedingly hostile federal actions towards TGE individuals.

Harvey Milk once famously instructed members of the LGBTQ+ community to come out to everyone they knew. While that isn't always possible for everybody, he was right that activism, advocacy and effecting change are the only real ways to gain (or now regain) legislative protection.
