Trans/LGBTQ+ Resource Hub

BtB's Resource Hub centers guidance for supporting transgender, non-binary, and gender expansive (TGE) students in education and music education. Additionally, the Resource Hub houses an ever-growing collection of supportive resources for educators, students, parents, the TGE/LGBTQ+ community, and their allies.

Support our work during the ongoing U.S. Trans Genocide

The Lemkin Institute for Genocide Prevention has issued multiple Red Flag Alerts for the ongoing Trans Genocide in the United States due to rampant mis/disinformation campaigns, exponentially increasing (and record breaking) numbers of anti-trans bills and exceedingly hostile federal actions towards TGE individuals.

Supporting inclusive and equitable pedagogy/pedagogical resources as well as those for our TGE & LGBTQ communities is critical now more than ever.

If you'd like to support our work, you can do so by visiting the Our Services page to book a talk, clinic/workshop, or professional development session for your school/district, company, organization, or community. Or you can individually contribute by clicking the button to support us through Venmo.

Trans/LGBTQ+ Support

For Educators, Families, & Professionals

For Educators, Families, & Professionals

Do you identify as trans, non-binary, gender expansive, LGBTQ+, or just might be? Here is an extensive set of resources compiled to help navigate this particularly tough climate for our community.

TGE & LGBTQ+ Media

TGE & LGBTQ+ Media

TGE & LGBTQ+ Media

A vast majority of TGE & LGBTQ+ TV shows and movies are either unknown or unseen. Meanwhile TGE & LGBTQ+ books and stories are being yanked off of shelves in attempts to erase us. But we exist and our stories deserve to be told. Here's a collection of TGE & LGBTQ+ movies, shows, books, artists, composers, & more.

Advocacy & Policy

TGE & LGBTQ+ Media

TGE & LGBTQ+ Media

Harvey Milk once famously instructed members of the LGBTQ+ community to come out to everyone they knew. While that isn't always possible for everybody, he was right that activism, advocacy and effecting change are the only real ways to gain (or now regain) legislative protection. Want to get involved or find organizations to support? This list is a great place to start.
